became a mother for the first time in August, 2007. Everyone always
says your life is never the same after the birth of your first child,
and when you're expecting you know they're right, you just don't know
the details.Now I know that every day I fall more and more in love with my son ... a love like no other that makes my heart stretch a little more every day. It also is the biggest responsibility a person can have, and sometimes that can seem daunting. There are so many choices to make. The most important thing to me is that my son is happy and that I provide him with the most healthy and natural formula, food and other products on the market. It is critical that I don't introduce unnecessary chemicals into his little mind or body. He is an extremely happy, thriving little boy and I attribute that not only to the loving care he gets but also to the natural and organic products I use for him. I can feel confident knowing he is has not been exposed to the many chemicals in conventional products.  Back-up

I was living the hippie lifestyle ... traveling
across the country
in a VW bus, wearing hemp dresses and patchouli. Since
then, I have traded in the van for a sporty Subaru, the hemp dresses in
for office attire and the patchouli is reserved for special
occasions. But what hasn’t changed is my appreciation of nature and its
boundless, perfect offerings. I have discovered that the more
pure things are -- from food to skin care to cleaning products – the
more I enjoy them on many levels. Back to today. Now that my husband and I are experiencing the overwhelming joy and challenges of parenthood, I am dedicated to finding the best natural and organic products available to help keep my son healthy, nourished and comfortable. It is so important to me that I approach motherhood in the most organic way possible. Therefore, I have created Organic-baby-and-mom.com. I feel that there must be other new mothers (and experienced ones too) who have the same questions I did and could benefit from the research I have done on the best organic and natural baby products. But it's not just for the babies! This site is dedicated to babies and MOMs. It is my thorough belief that in order to be a good mother and caregiver, it is important to take time out just for OURSELVES to recharge and rest, and to treat ourselves with the best of our natural surroundings. By reserving time to nurture ourselves we become better people and better mothers. Therefore, I have pages devoted to mom only. Pages on organic skin care, organic gardening and organic foods are in the works.
